Types of Service Models

Group Service Models.

We run small group services including:

  • school holiday social groups

  • social groups

  • daily living groups (12+)

Multi-disciplinary service models

We are a team of allied health professionals, working along side each other using a trans-disciplinary service model.

We work collaboratively to educate and support trans-disciplinary practices with other practices and educators.

Parent Training Models.

We love parent training models.

We love parents being in the session and engaged in the session. This means the parent becomes and active player and facilitates the session with support from the clinician.

To be a parent training mode, parents and/or families cannot be on their devices and are engaging in the session, learning to apply strategies to enable skill development.

Individual models.

Although we prefer parents to be in service, we understand this may not always be the best fit for the family and do individual models.

We complete session de-briefs AND have scheduled family collaborations at least every 10 weeks throughout the course of intervention.

Telehealth

We provide services across Australia via telehealth. Our clinician’s can complete telehealth for parent training and individual sessions.

Trans-disciplinary service models

Our Clinician’s are trained in approaches used outside of their profession for example our OTs and counsellors are trained in gestalt language processing, our OTs and SLPs are trained in mental health and our SLPs and Counsellors are trained in sensory integration and cognition.

Our clinician’s fuse knowledge from outside their area of practice to blend knowledge and frameworks resulting in our roles crossing over significantly.

This allows not only a holistic approach to development but functional. Language cannot be split from cognition and sensory integration, regulation and process underpin skill acquisition.
